We worship one God but offer two types of worship services – traditional worship services at 8:30 and 11 in the sanctuary and our Journey contemporary worship service meets at 11 in the gym. When you do come to join us for worship in the heart of Fountain City, you will discover a vibrant and welcoming community of faith committed to Loving God, Experiencing Christ, and Serving People.
FCUMC has been a vital presence in the heart of Fountain City for more than 185 years and we strive to be a place where people come to experience a vital relationship with God and live that out in a variety of ways throughout the week. We do that not only on Sunday morning through worship and in Sunday School, but in Bible studies throughout the week, our Wednesday Night meal and program, children and youth ministries, and the countless ways our church members make a difference in the Knoxville community each week.
